“Maranatha – Our Lord is Coming” by Tehillah

10-May-2014

On Saturday, Abigail, Geenu and I attended a prayer meeting by Tehillah at the Harvard Suite, Park Mall. We took the MRT to Dhoby Gaut and reached the venue at 6:45 pm. As we entered the hall, there were familiar faces, Chacko brother and family, George and Sanjana, Titus, Meenu, Reshmi, Robin, Jibin, Vimal, Prem, Jino, Dinesh. The main speaker of the event was Jiffy Yohannan from Kerala, an anointed man of God.

The meeting started with beautiful praise and worship by the Tehillah youth team. After praise and worship, there was an innovative quiz session for the people to interact with one other.

Brother Jiffy Yohannan then shared a brief sermon on the “Signs of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ”.

The Book of Revelation  reveals the will of God. Revelation 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Revelation 22: 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

It’s the perfect will of God to come quickly, the second time. Our hearts desire and prayer should also be the same – Come Jesus quickly.

Brother Jiffy mentioned signs of the second coming of Jesus Christ and elaborated each of the following events.

  1. Rise of human gods
  2. Increase of Wars
  3. Earthquakes and famines
  4. Persecution of Believers
  5. Many will backslide
  6. Increase in wickedness
  7. Gospel will be preached to the whole world

We must witness the people who are not even aware of the first coming of Jesus Christ and make use of every opportunity to share the Gospel , said Jiffy Yohannan.

After the sermon, he led the people into worship. The anointing of God was powerful during worship. People dedicated their lives to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

It was around 9:45 pm, the service ended. Praise God for a wonderful time :)
