“Be You” by Pastor Casey Treat

On 14th Sep 2014, Abigail, Geenu, and I attended the City Harvest Church service at the Suntec Convention Center. As we entered the hall, the atmosphere was reverberating with beautiful Praise and Thanksgiving.

After Praise and Worship, Pastor Casey Treat, shared the Word of God.

Isaiah 49:1 Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The Lord hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

God knows you personally even before you were born. Be You God has designed you to be. Not an angry you or an inferior you.

Your greatest mission in life is to be God You.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Proverbs 6:3131 But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house

What’s the thief taken from you? Don’t let the world push you down.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love

Ephesians 1:5, 6Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Ephesians 1:16-17 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

God is so big, He can turn your negatives into positives. God used Goliath to position David.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Remember the hope of your calling. Don’t lose the hope of your calling. God is moving you to a better place.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

You were created for good works. Things that are good are not easy. You are key to someone’s healing. Never lose the hope of your calling. Our greatest mission in life is to fulfill God’s will for our lives, to be a person He designed us to be.

God has called you. God has created you. God loves you.

After the sermon, Pastor Kong took the stage and invited the audience who wanted to accept Jesus as their Savior to come forward. People responded to the altar call and gave their lives to Jesus. The service ended with beautiful Praise.

Praise God for a wonderful time.
