Thomas Diary - A walk through my life

On March 22, 2015, Sunday, Abigail, Geenu, and I attended the special meeting at the Enjoy Church, Aljunied, organized by City Revival Ministries. It was the last day of Pastor Biji Anchal’s three day meeting in Singapore.

Ephesians 3:16-19

16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen

He mentioned the anointing of Prayer should rest on our lives.

Acts 9:11, So the Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying.

Paul understood Heaven is hearing his prayer. Will God tell the same about us? asked Biji Anchal. We must spend time in the Presence of God. Prayer is a two way communication – God speaking to us and we speaking to God. God desires to speak to us. Most of the times, it’s a one-way communication, we present our needs before God and then say good bye, which should not be so.

Ephesians 3: 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

One of the reason, our prayers are not being answered is that the power of God is not flowing in our lives as God desires.  When the power flows, that’s when God does exceedingly abundantly more than we ask or think.

Paul was a man of Prayer. Wherever he went, he won souls. Even in the jail, he led the jailor and his family to Christ.

Acts 16: 29 Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. 34 Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.

Ephesians 3:16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

Abraham tried to adjust by having a son from Hagar instead of God’s promise through Sara. But God didn’t allow adjustment. God gave a son to Abraham.

We must strengthen the inner man through the power of the Holy Spirit, said Pastor Biji Anchal.

Abigail wanted to play, and I had to leave in between the sermon. People were experiencing glorious anointing as he laid hands on the individuals and prayed. Praise God 🙂

  1. As we undertake to strengthen the inner soul, we move beyond concern for things that we can hold and possess. A wise man said, “The wealth of a soul is measured by how much it can feel; its poverty, by how little.”
