Thomas Diary - A walk through my life

On 21st March 2015, Saturday, 6 PM, I attended the Family Blessing meeting at the Jesus Calls Prayer, Little India, Singapore.  The service started with beautiful praise and worship. After praise and worship, Evangelist Bijoy, a young man with prophetic gift from Bangalore, India, shared the Word of God.

Exodus 3:2-6

2 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. 3 Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.” 4 So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” 5 Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.” 6 Moreover He said, “I am the God of your father—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God.

God does not call people by seeing the qualification. As long as God has called you, He will run toward you.

Every single prayer you’re doing, even if you see no change, remember God’s watching over you. Continue what you’re doing. Every praise you sing in the Presence of God, will not be in vain. He’s the God who pursues after those whom He has called.

God’s willing to call anyone – murderer, cheater, adulterer. You must be able to make a shift where the Grace of God is. The calling of God comes whoever you’re.

The blessing of God comes when you’re in the Presence of God. Like a businessman, grab the opportunity. Grab the grace that God has for you on the cross of the Calvary.

Forget about your past, present, and future. Remember only the Presence and Grace of God. Moses and Jacob, grabbed the opportunity in the Presence of God.

Whoever you’re, God’s gracious enough to stretch his loving hands towards you.

Though Jacob cheated his father, and brother, Jacob grabbed the opportunity. He asked God to bless him, he wrestled with God all night.

God’s looking for people who can grab the opportunity.

We’re here to grab the Presence. Only those people can see real manifestation of grace in their life.

Luke 5:3 Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.

4 When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”

But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” 6 And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. 7 So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. 8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”

Till yesterday, Peter was following the culture of washing the net, and boat, but Peter made a shift. You must be willing to make a change in your life style, culture.

Don’t ever try to be super Holy on day one. Growth is on a day to day basis. If you’re not patient to receive in God’s timing, you will loose it. If you’re sure of God’s word, go ahead and be silent to the world. If God has called you, be sure to make a small shift in your life.

When God calls you, don’t do everything on day one, make a small push. Are you willing to make a small push in your life that God asked you?

After the sermon, people queued up to receive a prophetic word for their lives. It was awesome as he prayed over me and shared a prophetic word. Praise God 🙂
