Thomas Diary - A walk through my life

12th March 2017,  City Harvest Church

A brief excerpt of the message by Pastor Kong Hee.

Knowing what God is doing and doing it together with Him is the secret of success.

Mark 16:20  And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen

If you want a supernatural miracle, you got to preach the Word that He has vowed to confirm.

Kingdom = King + his dominion.

Revelation 19:16

16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Psalms 24:7-8

Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle.

Isaiah 9:6-7

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this

Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Luke 4:43 but He said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent.”

Acts 1:3 to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God

The kingdom of God is everything Jesus did. I have no destiny if my own destiny is not same as Jesus Christ. If your purpose is not at sync with His purpose, you have no destiny.

Matthew 4:23-24And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. 24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

1 Corinthians 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.

Matthew 12:28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.

2 Timothy 3:8-9 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; 9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.

When Jesus Christ entered a place, He didn’t heal everybody in the city. He healed all who came to Him. There is no healing for those outside the Kingdom of God.  If you want to receive the healing, accept His kingship and kingdom. Permanent divine healing comes only with Kingdom of God.

Ecclesiastes 8:4

Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him, “What are you doing?”

If you’re willing to come under His rule and reign, His ultimate provision is for you.

Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Luke 4:18-19

The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,[a]
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.

Matthew 6:31-32

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

You submit to his reign, you submit to his rule.

Matthew 25:14-15 For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.

If you come under His rule, all provision will be yours and all blessing will be yours.

Matthew 10:1-8

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. 2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was[a] Thaddaeus; 4 Simon the Cananite,[b] and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.

5 These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Mark 6:12-13

So they went out and preached that people should repent. 13 And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.

Matthew 6:9-10

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven

Luke 17:20-21

20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

Colossians 1:13-14

13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

God made man to be a kingly ruler over territory. Man have rulership, not ownership.

Psalms 24: 1 The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.

He created all of us to manage, not to be managed and governed.

Matthew 20:25-26 But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. 26 Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.

Matthew 23:11 But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.

John 10:12 But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them.

Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.

Psalms 115:16  The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men.

Revelation 19: 16

And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Satan attacks us with low self-esteem, and self-doubt, like the case of the prodigal son, and spies thinking themselves as grasshoppers.

God has given lease agreement to man. And Adam gave the lease agreement to Satan.

Luke 4:5-6 Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

Matthew 18:18-19 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

This is only through prayer.

“Without God, we cannot, without us, God will not” – Saint Augustine

Mark 1:15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel

Total change of your thinking results in the total change of your whole life.

Satan’s kingdom is the kingdom of darkness and ignorance. There are four basic needs: Food, water, clothing, housing. The Kingdom of God is total opposite.

Matthew 6:24-25 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

God is Spirit. But mMammon is a demon spirit. It is the demon behind all the greed.

It is the spirit of materialism. It’s a powerful spirit that rules the world. It makes people worry about survival.

Matthew 6:30-32 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What  shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

Don’t let the spirit of mammon possess your mind.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you

The most important activity of your life is to seek the Kingdom of God.

Luke 9:57-62

57 Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, “Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.”

58 And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

59 Then He said to another, “Follow Me.”

But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

60 Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.”

61 And another also said, “Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.”

62 But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Luke 18:18

18 Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

19 So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. 20 You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ ”[a]

21 And he said, “All these things I have kept from my youth.”

22 So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

23 But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich.

24 And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God! 25 For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

26 And those who heard it said, “Who then can be saved?”

27 But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

28 Then Peter said, “See, we have left all and followed You.”

29 So He said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, 30 who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come eternal life.”

If Jesus is your king and Lord, He will take the best care of you. Whatever you surrender to Him, will be only temporary. He will bless you back.

God is not against having riches but you should not be possessed by riches.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you
