At first, you take the stairs to the top. After climbing all the way to the top, when you take a peek down, you get a shock. In the next few seconds, you have to decide whether to go ahead and take the plunge or step back. It feels like jumping from a 10-story building.
There is a battle between your mind and the spirit. The mind is weak and doesn’t want to go for it. But your spirit wants to experience the thrill. If your spirit man is strong, you will let your spirit decide, silence the mind, and subdue the body. The body is now under the control of the spirit.
You take that ultimate step of faith, believing that everything will be all right. At that second, your heartbeat zooms. You close your eyes. Adrenaline shoots up. Your body is at the mercy of your belief. The force of the water rushing against your body is incredible, it gets inside your nose and lungs. The spirit informs the mind, everything is all right. There is peace now, no more battle between the spirit and the mind. By this time, the ride is over. And this leap of faith allows you to take other killer rides.
